The ‘Interaction Design Project’ capstone project aims to utilise Design Thinking methodologies, particularly an adaptation of the Design Sprint created by groups of students to run remotely and over a semester to tackle a wicked challenge and come up with a product/service prototype and evaluate it with users. This year’s challenge was to tackle the underlying issues of the observed underrepresentation of women in STEM fields.
